macro tracking is tool that allows me to give you PERSONALIZED numbers for YOUR specific goal to aim for daily.
so wait- what is macro tracking exactly?
macro tracking is a more detailed and precise way of tracking things.
when tracking macros, you track the three macronutrients everything you eat gets broken down into: protein, fats and carbohydrates - in a tracking app (we’ll utilize MacrosFirst). and while the goal isn’t to track every morsel of food you eat for the rest of your life, it is a way to really hone in on a few things that you may not see as opportunities to tighten up. (don’t worry, I’ll teach you how to live life without macro tracking too like we did in foundations or in our 1:1 work together.)
once you enroll, you’ll get an email from me and I’ll have you fill out a detailed assessment form, which will allow me to get super clear on where you’re at. I’ll then give you personalized targets and set customized macros for you which will put you where you need to be to accomplish the goal you're trying to accomplish! ex: putting you in a caloric deficit that will allow you to burn the unwanted fat you are ready to LEAVE BEHIND!
because the reality is - there are two reasons you aren’t losing more weight. you are either not in a calorie deficit or you have (possibly unknowingly) been in a calorie deficit for too long and your metabolism needs some love, aka a reverse diet (more on that to come).
because newsflash - you are NOT meant to be in a calorie deficit YEAR AROUND. you want to be in a deficit for 20 weeks max and then work your way back up to maintenance calories (the calories your body needs to maintain its physique) and stay there for a few months which will allow your body to then be more successful in a future fat loss phase.
